Artisanal Production
Rosaluna Mezcal is produced in Santiago Matatlán, widely known as the Capital Mundial del Mezcal due to its concentration of traditional distillers in central Oaxaca. A sixth-generation family, led by siblings JJ and Frida Méndez León Jiménez, oversees every step. They cultivate Espadín agave in fertile soil, roast the piñas, mill them using a mechanical tahona, ferment for five days, and double-distil for purity.
Each bottle contains only agave, water, and generations of expertise.
