What makes Clase Azul Plata special?

Clase Azul Tequila Plata is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, but that’s not what makes it special. The craftsmanship that goes into producing Clase Azul Plata puts it in a class of its own. Not only is the tequila itself a pleasure to consume, but the decanter is a work of art in its own right. Each decanter is hand-painted by talented artists.

Clase Azul Plata review:

The nose delivers crisp hints of citrus and vanilla that invite you to take the first sip.

This premium tequila is extraordinarily soft, with a silkiness that lasts with an aroma of herbs and soft notes of citrus. Enhance your experience by enjoying this tequila with a dish of Seafood with citrus garnishes, sushi/sashimi, fresh fruits, and fresh cheeses.

The aftertaste leaves you with the sensational flavour of fresh citrus that will refresh you with every single sip.

Each Clase Azul Tequila decanter is handmade, and hand-painted by our artisans in the small Mexican town of Santa María Canchesda. 350 of Clase Azul’s highly skilled workers sculpt and paint them individually, using the Mazahua people's ancient techniques. Each of these ceramic decanters is a very unique piece of art that contains the ancestors' art and their legacy.

Where does Clase Azul Plata tequila come from?

Although Clase Azul is based in San Francisco, California, the tequila is produced in Jalisco, Mexico. Some of the finest tequila on the planet comes from the same region. It is produced at one of the highest points in the state of Jalisco which gives it a unique flavour unlike virtually any other tequila.

Between the uniqueness of the climate and the soil, Clase Azul Plata has a distinctive tequila flavour. Each of their agaves are grown for a period of 6 to 8 years.

That timeframe ensures that the agaves reach their optimum point of maturation. following which the pineapples are traditionally cooked in masonry ovens for 72 hours. This happens after the honey is extracted from the agave. The fermentation process is induced by yeasts specially developed for Clase Azul.

Finally the tequila is distilled to obtain its maximum refinement and purity and then complemented with deep well water, filtered from a special five-stage process. The result? One of the smoothest and most enjoyable tequilas to ever grace your lips.
