The Orendain family business was founded in Jalisco in 1926 by Don Eduardo Orendain. Gran Orendain has not left the hands of the family, moving from each generation to the next. The man behind it all is tequila legend Don Eduardo Orendain.
Before setting up the company, Don Eduardo had been working in the tequila industry with other family members since he was a child. Records show that the Orendain family have been involved in tequila-production as early as 1840, when ‘Dona Elisa Orendain’ and her husband had a tequila distillery called La Chiripa.

As you sip on it you imagine yourself with your shades on, sitting in the town square of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, soaking up the sun as you people-watch the Mexican tourists and fellow tequila-lovers coming and going about their day, enjoying life with beaming smiles on their faces.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Gran Orendain 7-Year Extra Añejo
- 3 sweet fresh cherries (remove the stems and pits)
- 1 tsp Agave Nectar
- 2 oz club soda
- 1 thin orange slice
- ¼ vanilla bean
- 4 ice cubes
- Sweet fresh cherry for garnish
- Orange wedge for garnish
Directions:
- Add the agave nectar, pitted cherries and orange slice to the cocktail shaker.
- Scrape the seeds from the inside of the vanilla bean and add them to the shaker. Also add the scraped pod.
- Mush the fruit to a pulp and mix. Then add the Gran Orendain 7-Year Extra Anejo and shake.
- Pour the mix over ice in a collins glass and top with club soda.
- Finally, garnish with a whole cherry and an orange wedge.

If a parcel is broken in transit then our couriers do not deliver it. If a damaged parcel is delivered, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, so we can investigate promptly.
