Teremana Tequila Blanco is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, hand-picked and trimmed by local farmers in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agaves are then roasted in a brick oven for three days to convert the components into fermentable sugar before the cores of the plant are shredded to extract the sugary-sweet liquid. The liquid is fermented in open tanks following the extraction, which gives it a lot of its flavour before finally being distilled in handmade copper pot stills. Whereas añejo tequilas are aged for over a year, and reposado tequilas are aged from 2 months up to a year, blanco tequilas such as Teremana Blanco are not aged at all.
But what about the name? The name ‘Teremana’ is a homage to Johnson’s Polynesian heritage. ‘Tere’ comes from the Latin word for ‘earth’, whereas ‘mana’ means ‘spirit’ in Polynesian, together meaning ‘spirit of the earth’.

Teremana Tequila is produced by ‘Destileria Teremana de Agave’, a family-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Whereas commonly tequila distilleries produce tequila for multiple brands, Destileria Teremana de Agave is unique in that they only make tequila for Teremana.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders:
We strive for all our customers to receive their orders in flawless condition; however, damages can sometimes happen.
If a parcel is broken in transit then our couriers do not deliver it. If a damaged parcel is delivered, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, so we can investigate promptly. You must also keep the damaged item(s), all the original packaging, including the box, postage label and internal packing filler as these items will be requested and we can not validate the damage without these items.
