Casamigos Reposado Tequila is one of the tequilas (alongside Casamigos Blanco Tequila and Casamigos Añejo Tequila) from the brand ‘Casamigos’ founded by George Clooney and his two friends Rande Gerber, a bar and restaurant tycoon, and Mike Meldman, a successful property developer.
Casamigos Reposado Tequila is aged for at least six months in American White Oak barrels, and has a soft, slightly oaky taste with hints of caramel and cocoa. It has a silky texture with a medium to long smooth finish, and is in fact the only tequila (along with the other Casamigos tequilas) that George Clooney and friends say they serve in their homes in Mexico.
The story of how Casamigos started is worth telling. George Clooney and co-founder Rande Gerber were sitting at a bar one night when building their new homes in Mexico, talking about how they were still yet to find their ‘perfect tequila’ despite trying so many. That night, they decided to create their own original tequila.
They tried 700 recipes across 2 years, finally settling on their favourite. After buying over 1000 bottles in a year from the producers they were told that to continue they would have to get a licence. At this point, they decided to go out on a whim and take their tequila public which they aptly named "Casamigos", translated to ‘house of friends’.
What makes Casamigos Reposado Tequila special?
Casamigos Reposado Tequila is made from hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves from the rich soil of the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, aged for 7 months, giving it that beautiful silky-smooth oaky vanilla taste.
The agaves are slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours - longer than that of most traditional tequilas which are usually roasted from 40 hours to as low as 7 hours. The fermentation process is also a little longer than with usual for tequilas - 80 hours instead of the average 48 hours.
Finally, Casamigos Reposado rests for at least six months in American White Oak barrels before being bottled at 80 proof and sent to us in the UK so we can enjoy this ‘Hollywood-level’ premium tequila reposado for ourselves.
The Casamigos brand is also the proud winner of several gold medals in various international spirits competitions including the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition, the New York World Wine and Spirits Competition and the Spirits of Mexico Tasting Competition.

Since the founding trio sold Casamigos to the company ‘Diageo’ in 2017, Casamigos tequila has been produced in the distillery ‘Diageo México Operaciones, SA De CV’. The distillery also produces tequila for other brands including El Cartel, Clase Azul and Avion.

Casamigos Tequila was made to be able to be enjoyed on the rocks, without any mixer, salt or lime, simply pour over ice and sip.
In a cocktail
We recommend trying the Casamigos approved "Casa Refresher" cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 35ml Casamigos Reposado Tequila
- 15ml Fresh Watermelon Juice or 4-5 Fresh Watermelon Chunks (1”)
- 10ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 5ml Simple Syrup
- 8-10 Mint Leaves
- 2 Dashes Peychaud’s® Bitters
- Garnish with a Mint Sprig and a Watermelon Cube through a skewer
Instructions:
Simply combine all the ingredients into a tin shaker, and muddle with watermelon and mint. Then add ice, shake the mix vigorously and finely strain it into a rocks glass. Finally add fresh ice and then garnish.

Casamigos produce a variety of tequilas, correctly termed as "expressions". In addition to their Reposado the brand also offers Blanco and Anejo expressions.

The courier will inform you of your delivery day and time via email or phone and then attempt to complete the delivery. If the courier is unable to complete the delivery due to not receiving instructions by the receiver or no one, over the age of 18, is able to accept the parcel at the receivers address then, after delivery is attempted but unsuccessful, the parcel will be automatically returned to Premium Tequila.
If the parcel is automatically returned to Premium-Tequila after attempted delivery has been unsuccessful and the buyer requests a refund then the standard postage fee will be deducted from the refund for items sent by standard postage, if the buyer selected same day or next day or express delivery then the applicable fee, will be deducted from the refund.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders:
We strive for all our customers to receive their orders in flawless condition; however, damages can sometimes happen.
If a parcel is broken in transit then our couriers do not deliver it. If a damaged parcel is delivered, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, so we can investigate promptly. You must also keep the damaged item(s), all the original packaging, including the box, postage label and internal packing filler as these items will be requested and we can not validate the damage without these items.
We are committed to resolving any issues with faulty items as swiftly as possible, but it's crucial that you inform us as soon as you discover the fault to facilitate a prompt resolution.
Please provide as much information as possible regarding the damage. Additionally, we may request photographs capturing any damage, encompassing the entire packaging including shipping label for insurance purposes.
