Clase Azul Añejo review

Nose

The nose delivers succulent scents of clove, orange marmalade, and bold whiffs of oak.

Taste

Clase Azul Añejo tequila has a distinctive yet approachable flavour that makes it perfect for people trying tequila for the first time and connoisseurs alike. This tequila tastes like Mexican vanilla, and orange marmalade with a dash of spices.

Aftertaste

The aftertaste gives off an intense flavour of the American oak casks in which it was stored.

The Clase Azul Añejo Bottle

This bottle is instantly recognizable with its unique shape and intricate design. Each bottle is handcrafted by local artisans in the town of Santa Maria Canchesda, making each one truly one-of-a-kind.

The bottle is made from high-quality ceramic and is hand-painted with a white glaze. The design on the bottle is inspired by traditional Mexican art and features a blue agave plant in the centre, surrounded by intricate patterns and details. The top of the bottle is adorned with a small ceramic cap, adding to the overall luxury feel of the bottle.

The Blue Agave Plant Design

The blue agave plant design on the Clase Azul Añejo tequila bottle is not just for aesthetics - it also has a deeper meaning. The blue agave plant is the heart and soul of this tequila, and the intricate design on the bottle pays homage to this important ingredient.

The blue agave plant is also a symbol of Mexican culture and heritage, making it a fitting design for a tequila that is deeply rooted in tradition and craftsmanship.

The Bottle's Functionality

Aside from its stunning appearance, the Clase Azul Añejo bottle also serves a functional purpose. The bottle is designed to keep the tequila at the perfect temperature, ensuring that every sip is as smooth and flavorful as the last.

The ceramic material of the bottle helps to insulate the tequila, keeping it cool and preventing it from being affected by external temperatures. This is especially important for añejo tequila, which is best enjoyed at room temperature.
